Chartered on May 19, 1980 Omicron Alpha Alpha has had a commitment of service toward the city of Pontiac and the greater metropolitan Detroit area. Fourteen men of liked minds (pictured above) came together, looking to uphold the tradition of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, decided to start something new, something life changing, something that would define their members experiences and allow them to build lifelong friendships.
Through their dedication towards service, these outstanding Omega Men set in place a commitment to serve the community of Pontiac by way of National Mandated programs as well as numerous social action programs.
All members of this chapter are thoroughly immersed in the foundation that was set by these fourteen men. Omicron Alpha Alpha commitment toward social action has been formally recognized on several occasions at the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity 10th District meetings.
We will continue to build on the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Cardinal Principals and the social action legacy that these fourteen men set in place.
